I'M Katie elizabeth
I am the girl behind the lens, who's probably hyping you up & laughing with you! I have been capturing memories for the past 7 years & loving every moment of it. I am born & raised in Houston, TX so I can tell you all the best locations & even the best restaurant to go to after your session!
I graduated from The University of Alabama in 2022 (Roll Tide!!) and have been a full time wedding photographer ever since. Photography has been a passion of mine since High School and I am so excited to put my all into serving you and giving you the best photo experience!!
When I'm not behind my computer editing or at a photo shoot, I love going to the beach (pls yes beach sessions), music festivals, and traveling! So I am always down for destination weddings AND we will jam out your entire session. I'm also a major dog lover, so if you bring your dog to your session they may become the star of the show. Also anything that involves a margarita and some good ole tex mex... I'm probably already there with a pitcher and fajita in hand :)

What Inspires Me
My photography journey all started because I was a high schooler in need of some cute insta content. I grabbed my moms camera and headed to downtown Houston with my best friend. I instantly fell in love with taking the photos and well, here we are today!
Ever since, photography has been my happy place. Creating a comforting space for my clients to be fully in the moment to celebrate their love is always my #1 goal. Capturing your true personality, the way your significant other looks at you when you don't even notice, and all the moments in between are what inspire me most.
Through all the products that I offer whether its digital photos or a fine art album, you have the unique opportunity to be taken back to that exact moment in time. What better way to share your happiness and excitement than posting the cutest senior photos on social media or gifting your parents a wedding album they will hold onto forever?!

My Favorite Things
CONfession: I’M A crazy dog mom
On most days, I am usually curled up with my computer editing and Netflix on, playing some sort of murder mystery in the background. There might be a bit of puppy snuggle breaks...oops! I also love to go on walks or head to a pilates class so I am not a total couch potato!
A more exciting day when I am not shooting is spent traveling. Traveling is one of my biggest passions outside of photography. There is so much to see and do on this earth and I want to see as much of it as I possibly can (& of course bring my camera along to capture it and too). Anywhere with a beach tends to be my favorite place to travel and shoot at too!
That’s a little sneak peek into my life and a few of my favorite things. Nothing too exciting but definitely have so much to be happy for! Which is why I believe it is important to celebrate all aspects of life no matter where your story may take you!!
Behind The Lens
It is my number one goal to make you feel your best and at ease throughout your entire photo process. Whether its for your senior photos, a couples session, or your wedding day, I will be there to hype you up the whole time. No matter what we are celebrating, we will meet beforehand to make sure nothing gets missed or forgotten and the photos you have dreamed of come to life.
For weddings, I will be there from the very beginning to the very end capturing every detail and in between moment that may be missed. This way you can enjoy every moment & have it to look back on forever. I'll even be sure to jump in the middle of the dance floor to capture your best moves, especially when your Aunt may have had too many margaritas ;) We will build a timeline to make sure every aspect of your day does not go by unnoticed. This is your day, so anything you may need, leave it to me and lets get you freakin' MARRIED!!
For sessions, this is all about you honey!! No idea is a bad one and I am open to any crazy ideas...even getting in the ocean. In our Planning Consultation we will go over all of the details to make sure your dream session comes true. So grab your favorite outfit and get ready to jam out and laugh a lot with me!

MY PHILOSOPHY
To me, photography is my escape & happy place. When I am at a your session nothing else matters except capturing your authentic self. Through the editing process, I am fully immersed back into that moment. The emotions in the room, the song that was playing, the laughs of your family members. Being able to look at a photo and FEEL that exact moment again, is the most precious thing we have. Memories.
Providing this same escape & happy place to my clients is why I do what I do. Capturing these moments & turning them into art for you to treasure forever; to reflect on when a family member isn't around anymore, the things you loved most at 17, the time and detail you put into planning your dream day, is not a task I take lightly. Actually, its pretty dang special to provide this escape for you.
