Where are my beach lovers at?! The beach feels like home to me, which is why Galveston shoots are my favorite! Not everyone knows there are so many great shoot spots around Galveston besides the beach, so let’s explore those places!

1. Beachtown Galveston

Beachtown is easily the best beach-spot in Galveston! It is clean, secluded, and has the cutest neighborhood. Brick sidewalks lined with palm trees and Victorian Style, coastal-colored homes, and a beautiful white bridge leading directly to the beach- giving you all the seaside vibes. It’s the best spot to get creative using both the beach and neighborhood to make your photos look like you’re in Florida!

**Please note that this is a neighborhood, so please be mindful of the residents. Don’t leave a mess, have equipment everywhere, or block any walk-ways! This spot gets pretty popular with photographers at golden hour, so plan accordingly.**

2. Sacred Heart Church on Broadway

If you have driven down Broadway in Galveston, you may have noticed a beautiful white church! Sacred Heart’s Spanish architecture makes for a gorgeous and unique spot for photos. The church’s pristine white color paired with its contrasting green landscaping makes this a great location if you want to wear color during your shoot!

3. The Galvez

This hotel is the cutest place ever!! Recently, it has been painted pink, making it the perfect spot for fun, beachy, and colorful photos. There are palm trees everywhere, and many different spots around the outside of the hotel to get a good variety of photos. Located on the sea wall, it is super easy to get the water in the background of the photos or walk over and use the beach!

Overall, there are many great spots to take pictures in Galveston. Galveston is full of unique architecture and history, so be sure to research your locations before you go! The light in Galveston is always so gorgeous, so you can’t  go wrong with whatever location you pick! What is your favorite spot in Galveston?!
